Whilst I was swimming in Port de Pollenca I noticed this moored boat and the beautiful light in the water beneath it. It was the first time I’d contemplated painting the sea from two perspectives in one painting, a challenge making my future sea turtle series a little easier. The orange buoy nicely complements the wide range of blues if the sea.
